HIGH COURT DECIDES OVER PhD.

A senior Universiti Malaya (UM) lecturer, was orally told by UM's examination committee he had passed his PhD.  He later received letters from UM saying he had failed his PhD. He won his judicial review application at the High Court, details thestaronline.
It is a shame to UM's examination committee, the High Court had to intervene to decide on the matter.
This raised the eyebrows of society. Universiti Malaya a top rated University in the country, its examination committee's credibility is being questionable. Is the examination committee qualified for their job?
Whatever excuses or reasons they have it is not acceptable in the education industry. Losers are always excuse sider.

CHARITY FOR EDUCATION

Our corporate leaders are giving back to education, to help ease the burden and speed up the development of Chinese and Tamil schools. These partially-aided schools will always need funds.
The Community Chest was launch by MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.
This project would also be helpful to maintain mission schools which serve all communities. The Community Chest should be praised for its creative way to raise funds.
This initiative by corporate leaders should not encourage the government to reduce the allocation of funds for vernacular schools under the national budget.
